CliC reading glasses are on everyone's lips. Well-known celebrities from the film and music industry made them popular worldwide. With CliC readers, wou wear the practical, fashionable accessories for any occasions. You can even marvel at the magnetic glasses on politicians and business leaders. They became known to a broad audience through the US crime series CSI: Vegas.

Designed for space

CliC glasses originally come from space research. Astronauts were looking for suitable visual aids that could be used in space for a longer period of time. Conventional glasses could slip and were easily lost in weightlessness. US space agency NASA therefore developed the principle of magnetic glasses. There is no more slipping here. The glasses fit perfectly and are at the same time available very quickly, as they are connected to the head or neck with a strap. Adjustable temples adapt to any head size and nose shape. CliC reading glasses have a kind of metal bridge and can be opened at the front. It always fits exactly in the right place.

High quality material

A decisive argument to buy CliC glasses is their high quality. The CliC glasses frames are made of polycarbonate. The flexible thermal properties of this material ensure high resistance. Polycarbonate is common in aviation, for example. Numerous objects of daily life such as Credit cards and CDs are made from this material.

Extensive tests provide security

CliC glasses have been extensively tested before being used in space. In the Harley-Davidson test center's wind tunnel in Milwaukee WI, CliC's heart, the magnetic lock, was tested for reliability. The shutter did not open until 130 mph in the experimental test. This wind speed is almost never reached in 'normal' everyday life. The magnet used has been scientifically calculated to have a useful life of around 150 years. It is a patented, powerful neodymium magnet.
